What people are saying about "Angels of Islington"

This was a great book, and I loved it. It's lots of fun, but clearly benefits from good theological research as well. It's a quirky view of the angelic pantheon, but one that would have been familiar to Thomas Aquinas in some respects - although definitely not in all! It's also a crime thriller, and you really want to know whodunit. Don't be put off by the prologue ("In the Beginning"), which may lead you to think it plays with gratuitous violence - it doesn't. It's just a thoroughly good read, and should appeal to anyone who likes to play about with ideas as well as get stuck into a gripping plot
